Hoover is situated within two separate counties in Alabama. The two counties are both Jefferson and Shelby counties respectively. Birmingham, the largest city in Alabama, is the closest metropolitan area nearby. Hoover is most known for it's large shopping complex, the Riverchase Galleria. This structure has 2.4 million square feet of retail, shopping, hotel, and office space on it's grounds. Hoover is a beautiful area because of it's location in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It features a plethora of rolling hills and beautiful scenic spots to enjoy.

This is the place to be for mouth watering chicken wings. The service here is top notch as well, with a sense of feeling right at home as soon as you enter the building. Beef 'O' Brady's is the place to be if you want to find a local haunt to sit back and relax in. A lot of local Hoover residents come here to relax after a hard day of work. There are televisions to watch sports on, and delicious beers on tap. The menu is more like a standard bar menu, but the food is quite delicious. The portions you receive will keep you coming back again and again. Just a little perfect nook to enjoy some beer with some friends, or even by yourself.

Applebee's

If you haven't heard of Applebee's before, then welcome to the 21st century my friend! Although Applebee's is a chain restaurant, this particular chain is simply amazing. They have everything you can expect from an Applebee's, but the service and how they cook their food here has it's own special touch. The service is always friendly and fast. The food and drinks are consistently fresh and beyond delicious. You are guaranteed to leave this Applebee's with an enourmous smile on your face!

Gabriel's Sport Cafe

While this bar may be considered a "hole in the wall", it is a fantastic place to visit if you ever get the chance to do so. It has a stage that is filled with live musicians from time to time. It has a pool table and some dart boards. The food and drinks are on the lower end of cost, so you can get more for your money. Monday's are steak nights, and the steaks couldn't be more perfect! Gabriel's is definitely the place to go and to hang out with your friends.
