The Downtown Royal Oak area features a great amount of venues to hang out in during the night time such as the Royal Oak Music Theatre, which features a steady stream of world class musicians and comedians performing throughout the week. They also are home to the Landmark Main Art Theatre, Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle, many pubs and restaurants, upscale breweries, and the popular Detroit Zoo. Mr. B's Pub is a simply excellent place to go and enjoy some fantastic food and kick back with some delicious drinks. This is a great place to go and grab some perfectly crafted pizza, a juicy burger, or a frosty cold beer. You will always have some fun hanging out in Mr. B's Pub shooting some pool and getting familiar with the community. They have been a staple in the Royal Oak area since 1977, and are one of the most beloved establishments around. Royal Music Theatre
Anyone who lives in the Royal Oak area or heads there at least somewhat frequently knows that one of the most hip and fun places in town is the Royal Oak Music Theatre. This beautiful establishment is a shining jewel in the heart of Downtown Royal Oak. This is a great place to go and enjoy all of the hottest bands and touring acts that stop through while sipping on your favorite drinks. This has been a staple in the Royal Oak area since the late 1920's, and has been a gathering place for all of the cool people since then. The Royal Oak Music Theatre prides itself on being general admission, so you can just head in and stand wherever you want. But this makes it a good idea to arrive as early as possible so you get a good spot.
