Pigeon Forge is so much more than simply the home of Dollywood. While yes, that is one of the main attractions, you'll find that there's something for everyone here as the main industry is set up for tourists who visit this area with absolutely stunning natural beauty. In addition to the great gift shops and restaurants, Pigeon Forge is just a few miles north of the Smoky Mountain National Park, and is also home to unbelievable theaters and amusement parks. Family friendly from front to back, Pigeon Forge is definitely a must visit for those who appreciate country music or hiking in the rolling mountains of Tennessee!
The Local Goat is probably our very favorite place in Pigeon Forge to grab a tasty, juicy burger of goodness. Not to be overlooked, however, is the very nice bar favors they offer like the Glazed Wings and other such bar delicacies. Throw in some friendly and very knowledgeable help, top it off with some awesome drinks and you have yourself a really nice respite from cooking yourself.

Hands down, this pizzeria has the very best pie in the area! Huge portions of just greasy enough goodness really satisfies no matter what fresh, delicious toppings you throw on board. Are you a fan of some tasty sides too? Well, there's no disappointment on this menu! Whatever you get, it's going to be good. Make a perfect choice for some nom-nom's on the go!

What can we possibly say about this wonderful locale, that hasn't already been stated in the plethora of happy fans?! Well, we probably can't add to any of that but... You simply must try Sawyer's! While out on one of our food-finding adventures, we were pleasantly surprised to come across this awesome little Cuban cafe! It's not quite what we were expecting to find in the heartland of America. Here you'll find southern hospitality at it's best but, with a twist of finding some of the most delish "south of the border" cuisine we've ever found in the state of Tennessee!

On a recent day off, we were on our way to hike in Cades Cove, and we happened upon this unassuming BBQ joint on the way. We were hungry, so we stopped in to see what it's all about. Boy are we glad we did! We left with fat full smiles on our faces and were reveling in the deliciousness that we had just taken part in. We can't say enough good about this place!
