Upperline Restaurant

You have to check out this local haven where you will always have a friend and where the cuisine is mighty tasty. This place is serious about its wine. It is nice to know that the owner really cares about each patron and you will know this because before you know it, the owner will be at your table asking you how your experience has been so far. You just can't beat the hospitality at this wonderful venue. You will leave here knowing that you have felt like royalty if only for a moment in time.

The Camellia Grill

This place is an institution when it comes to breakfast fare. One of the things that you will notice right away is how much the staff genuinely like being at work. They are always joking with each other and the patrons. Event the customers pick up on this friendly atmosphere and it would not be surprising if you leave with a new friend or two. The prices are going to astound you and the coffee is delightful. Be forewarned, this location is not that large so you might have to wait for a bit but hang in there, it will be more than worth it.

Jacques-Imo's Cafe

Fantastic food prepared and presented at this location. Once you experience the delicious fare here, you are going to make this a regular visit. Expect to wait for a bit because a restaurant as great as this one is always packed. There are some really unusual menu choices that you are going to want to talk over with your server. There is a bar area where you can enjoy some drinks but if you are looking for recommendations, we suggest looking into the pa-need rabbit or the fried chicken. ALso, for dessert, if you have room that is, consider the alligator shrimp cheesecake. This place is worth the wait.

Located in a quaint historic area, this venue is known for its authentic Louisiana seafood and Creole-inspired dishes. But even more than that, you are not going to believe the affordable prices. If you get there at the right time, you will get a chance to have front row seating to enjoy all of the beautiful sights and sounds that New Orleans has to offer. There is something on the menu for everyone with items that range from po-boys to seared scallops to seasonal items. What really completes their offerings is the zinc bar, full-service oyster bar and the climate controlled patio area if you are looking for outdoor dining.
